Child labour is, without doubt, one of the greatest issues circulating around the globe. This issue is fairly important to the world as the number of the affected is growing notably as every minute passes. However, this issue is almost completely neglected by the authorities, and the public barely even show the slightest sign of care.

“No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms” (Source). Child labour also affects the quality of life for the affected. For instance, the issue can affect the life expectancy of the children involved. Often, they do not get enough sleep each day and works more than the average adult. Also, children that are working for sweatshops cannot afford to access education. Therefore, they cannot read and write fluently in a language. This leads them to failure in the future. No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms,” (Source) this is article 4 from the UN Declaration of Human Rights. Child labour violates this article by a long margin nonetheless, but nobody has been showing the slightest care and concern for this issue.

Free the Children, run and found by two young Canadians, Marc and Craig Kielburger. Founded in 1995, when Craig was only 12 years old, Free the Children is on the verge of becoming the best children’s charity in the world. Free the Children specializes in helping the affected children receive an adequate and fundamental education needed for their future lives. It believes that every child deserves to learn, and escape from the darkness. Free the Children is run internationally in eight different countries such as Sierra Leone, Ghana, China, and Nicaragua. It has already built more than 650 schools and provided education for 55,000 children with education daily in those affected countries (Source
).
